Skärva Herrgård (Skärva Manor)
Located by the Baltic Sea, about 7 km from the city of Karlskrona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 200 year old Manor is surrounded by a magnificent nature reserve. The Manor was built in the late 1700s by two men, one art lover Fredrik Henrik af Chapman, the other architect Carl August Ehrensvärd. Their notions harmonized and merged into Skärva Herrgård
In 1806, the manor was acquired by the Wachtmeister family.
Admiral af Chapman's estate at Skärva is one of the most singular architectural creations produced in Sweden in the 18th Century
